Target Audience
The game has a constant realistic theme, this is through the historical aspects and violence that comes along with these aspects. The story is also quite intense and requires a lot of focus, thus meaning a more mature audience would be required. The game targets older teens and adults, specifically those who enjoy puzzles, action and a good narrative.
Upon deciding as to what rating I should choose for the game it is almost guaranteed to be 18, as although most of the violence and natures of the game could be put to a 16 or slightly lower, the use of Discriminative themes within some of the gameplay requires that the game must be bumped higher to 18.
Age Rating

PEGI and ESRB Rating: After much consideration I decided I really wanted to show the threat of violence that surrounded this era of Berlin, surrounding the wall. Lots of rioting, violence and death. Then with the inclusion of a timeline that shows Berlin still under a Nazi rule, I had to consider the countries and markets to which this would be sold under. For example, Germany will now accept the use of Nazi symbolism as "artistic" exception, although the ratings for games for which this is shown is an 18. Therefore, I chose to consider my game rated as 18, this allows me to display the true historical nature of the era and be considered by more foreign markets. Due to this being my decision for the PEGI rating, the ESRB rating was easy to decide as the classification for ESRB's "Mature" rating is the same as that of PEGI's 18 rating

PEGI Rating Classifications: The adult classification is applied when the level of violence reaches a stage where it becomes a depiction of gross violence, apparently motiveless killing, or violence towards a defenceless character. Playable Platform

After researching the different sales numbers for each platform, commonly the PS4 outsold all other platforms by almost 20%. However, due to demand for specific games to be on the XboxOne or the PC, it would make sense to release the game first on PS4 but then gradually over time on other platforms, this is to capitalise on initial sales before building unit sales.
